Tanner is now two months old. He is so fun to look at and is changing so fast. I can't believe he was born two months ago. I have tried to get a picture of his big smile but its proving harder then you would think. This is a picture of his half smile.

2 Months

A week of Christmas fun!
We had a most wonderful Christmas. It is amazing how fast the holiday season comes and goes. This is The Wentz family dog, George. Sabrinna loves to play with him. Her latest joy has been to try and ride him like a horse.
One night last week Steve and Sabrinna made a 'Christmas Castle' with all the presents under the tree. Sabrinna had so much fun with it. She was sad the next morning when she got up and we had cleaned it all up. She wanted to make a new castle to play in.
We had Santa come over, a close family friend, Sabrinna did better this year seeing Santa. She didn't know what to think at first. She was fine until we put her on his lap. Then she lost it and started crying. This is are good friend Eric taking his turn telling Santa what he wants for Christmas. It was very comical!
We have really enjoyed the time together with family and friends!
SNOW!!!
Since we have been dumped on from the sky with an abundance of snow we have taken advantage of it and had some good fun. Steve and I shoveled the snow up into a pile in the corner of our backyard and turned it into a little hill. Kellie, Steve's sister, came over and showed us how to properly tube down our hill.
The sun was so bright that it was hurting Sabrinna eyes so she asked to wear her sunglasses! So Cute!

A Pleased Mother and Wife
As a family we have reached some big milestones over the last couple of weeks. Tanner turned 1 month on Thanksgiving. He is growing so fast! I am already having to set cloths aside that don't fit anymore. He is doing such a good job holding up his head and smiling.
Sabrinna is continually surprising us with her vast vocabulary and ability to do 25 piece puzzles. The puzzles she is doing now are for children age 3-7. She is doing wonderful with Tanner and is my big helper.
I know Steve doesn't like to have the spotlight on him but its good to have some recognition every once in a while. Last week Steve was promoted from 2nd Lieutenant to 1st. They did a little ceremony at work. Steve was not suppose to be promoted until May. I am grateful for his hard work and dedication to his job and our family. I am a very lucky woman to have married such a talented man. He has been such a help with the kids and helping me recover. He is always trying to do what he can to help our family and serve others.

Update!
Its been 2 1/2 weeks since Tanner was born and life at our home has started to adjust. Tanner is gaining weight and starting to smile. Sabrinna is doing well with getting use to Tanner being home and not getting as much attention as before. She loves to see him in the mornings and will give him a kiss. My recovery has been a lot better then what I thought it would be. I am feeling really well and am up and about. I am still taking it easy and enjoying the time at home with our kids. It is such a blessing to be a mom and get to be home with.

He's Here!!!!
Tanners first picture. This picture was taken in the OR right after he was born. What an amazing experience!!!!
Tanner Jay Wentz joined us on October 30 at 1:10pm. He was 8 pounds and 19 inches long. We were shocked at how much he weighed! The surgery went really well and baby Tanner and I am are doing great. I am sore, obviously, but the pain killers work wonders! I am up and walking around and it feels really good to get out of bed for a little while. This has been a LOT better c-section then the first one. We are taking it easy and should be released from the hospital tomorrow morning. Tanner is so cute and we love to just look at him. He is a wonderful baby and we are so grateful to have him here healthy and alert.
I was so worried how Sabrinna would respond to Tanner but she likes him. She wants to hold him and rub his head. They are really cute together. At first Sabrinna had a hard time seeing me with all this stuffed hooked up to me. Now that they have unhooked from everything she is doing better.
We love our 'little man' and think he is just perfect! (But of coarse all parents think that about their kids.)

Tribute to Sabrinna
I have been thinking about Sabrinna a lot lately. I decided I wanted to pay tribute to her and her fun personality. I love her so much!!! She is so much fun to play with and makes us laugh all the time. She LOVES to color and do puzzles. Coloring must take place at least 3 times a day or else the day is not complete! She is starting to like the princess idea and dressing up. She loves to help me do dishes Her favorite is to take a bath in the sink after all the dishes are done. She loves to be outside and play at the park. She is getting better at singing the words to songs we are teaching her. At times she will get up at the piano and play and sing for me. Most of what she sings is her own made up songs. Something she does that's really cute and at times funny is she will say, "Oh man, Oh boy, oh gosh" and slap her leg with her hand.
I love to see these little things that she does everyday and how her personality is really shining now. She has changed so much over the last 2 years. As I have looked at her baby pictures its shocks me at how fast she has changed physically and mentally. She is such a joy and am grateful to be her mother.
Alpine Loop
I have wanted to go up the canyon since the colors started to change. I knew that we were going a little late to see them at there best but we went anyways. We ended up driving the Alpine Loop. We stopped at Cascade Springs and a few turn outs along the the canyon. It was a nice drive and I was glad that I got to see some of the colors even if most of them had already fallen. Plus we got a nice family picture...even though it will be out dated by the weekend.

8 days and counting...
I have come up on the last week of my pregnancy, technically I have two weeks left but I will be having the baby early. It is amazing how quickly the time has gone by. We found out a couple of weeks ago that our little guy is breech. Which means that we are going to have another c-section, something we were already planning on for more then one reason. I am grateful for modern technology which allows for us to do this. On the flip side I am not looking forward to the longer recovery.
Due to some other things going on with my body we thought that I would go into labor earlier then when our c-section was scheduled. I put myself on a mild bed rest for a week or so hoping to ensure that labor would not come to early. My doctor and I are both shocked that I have not gone into labor. Who knows though I could end up having the baby tonight?!?! Anyways we are excited and nervous anticipating the arrival of Tanner. If all goes to plan I will have Baby Tanner, as Sabrinna calls him, next Thursday around 12:30.

Hee Haw Corn Maze
This last weekend we went to the corn maze over in Pleasant Grove. It has been years since we last went to one. They had so many fun activities. Sabrinna got to ride in the little animal tractor, which she loved and wanted to go again and again. They had a slide, a small petting zoo, petal cars, a hay ride, and a haunted house (which we did not do but were told it was good). We were there until after it got dark so we played hide-n-seek in the maze. It was a lot of fun and well worth the money.
Kennacott Copper Mine
All summer we have wanted to go out to see Kennacott Copper Mine. Steve had last Monday off and so we decided to make the trip. Are friend Eric, who Steve works with, came with us. It was rather cold since we had just gotten that nice snow storm. It was still very impressive to see and learn about the mine. They work 24/7 and have a very impressive system for extracting the copper. The trucks they use are MASSIVE! When you look at them down in the pit they don't look that big but when you see one of the tires from the trucks your perspective changes. It was a nice trip and we were glad we took the time to go and see the mine.

AAACHOOO!
This week we have been hit by the sick bug!! We have pretty much kept to the house in hopes of not spreading this cold. Sabrinna has had a runny nose and a little cough. Luckily she has not been acting to sick, which normally means watching lots of TV and constant attention from mom. She has still been under the weather and not herself. Steve seemed to get hit by it the worse. In the 4 years we have been married he has only taken work off once for sickness, the man just doesn't get sick. He was so sick that he took yesterday off and laid in bed most of the day. I felt really bad but he is doing lots better!! Keep you fingers crossed that my luck does not run out and I get the bug. Its been nice to be able to help Steve and Sabrinna out and not feel run down my self.

Denver Colorado
Over the weekend Steve and I took a trip to Denver. The army provides marriage retreats from time to time with all expenses paid. Of course we jumped at the opportunity! We stayed in downtown Denver, at the Brown Palace Inn and Spa. While we were there we walked along 16th Street. This street is closed off to all car traffic. It has lots of great shopping and fun things to see. We got into a Rockies baseball game for 7 dollars (we were sitting in $35 seats...yes we got the tickets from a scalper) They had one of the best firework shows I have ever seen after the game. We also went and saw the Denver Temple. Its pretty small but still very pretty. They had us in some classes most of Saturday. What they taught was was great and Steve and I both walked away from it with some very good information.
This was the first time for me to ever leave Sabrinna over night. I was so worried!!! She did wonderful and I think I missed her more then she missed me. Over all Steve and I had a great time and really enjoyed being able to get away by ourselves for a few days.

Utah State Fair
Last night we went to the Utah State Fair. We had a good time walking around and seeing all the different vendors and displays. They had some beautiful quilts displayed and I got some ideas for our baby. Steve had fun going on the Rollo Plane ride. He was kind of sick afterwords and I ended up driving home. Sabrinna had a great time riding the horses and seeing all the different animals. They had brought in some Bengal Tigers that put on a very impressive show. For my first time experience at the state fair I felt it was a lot of fun!

Better Late then Never
Last week (Aug 21) Steve and I celebrated our 4 year anniversary. It is amazing how quickly the time has gone by. It does not seem like we got married 4 years ago. We have created a lot of great memories and have grown a lot. As I reminisce about the past we have accomplished a lot. We have both graduated from collage, had a little girl plus one on the way, have moved 3 times, been to lots of fun places all over the country, and of course had our disagreements, but in the end we always remember that we love each other. I am so blessed to be married to such a wonderful man and hard working father!
For our special night we went out to dinner and then went shopping for some things. It was nothing over the top but still nice to get out and go on a date.

Florida
Last week we went to Florida with Steve's family to pick up his brother Kyle before he leaves on his mission. We also met up with some friends from Pennsylvania and Steve's Aunt Linda. We started in Fort Lauderdale, which is where Kyle was working over the summer. The first night we where there we spent a little time driving around Miami. That city is very cool to see at night! The following morning we went on an air boat ride through out the Everglades and saw an alligator show afterwards. The boat ride was a lot of fun!! We wanted to spend some time at the beach but got rained out after a while. Steve and his brother still jumped in the ocean and made the most of it. The next two days were spent at Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom in Disney World. We all had a lot of fun. I was surprised at how many rides I could do while being pregnant. I couldn't do the real fun rides like Splash Mountain and Space Mountain but I did get to do Pirates and the Haunted House. Sabrinna did very well on the trip but has had a little bit of a hard time adjusting back. It was a lot of fun to be in Florida and great to see Kyle.

Swimming with Teeg Teeg
UVU
Schofield Lake...and Strawberry too
A couple of weeks ago we went up to Schofield Lake, which is up Spanish Fork Canyon, with my family. My parents like to fish so we took their fishing boat and jumped in the car for the day. While my parents were out on the lake fishing Steve and Theora decided to see if they could catch some of the fish that were swimming around our feet... with a cup. They were just tiny fish and after just a few minutes they had caught their first of four fish. They had a lot of fun trying to scare the fish a certain way and hope they could get it before it swam away. It was really fun to watch them!!! Don't worry it was catch and release.
After we were all done fishing, we decided to drive over the mountain to see Strawberry Lake. When we got to Strawberry it was neat because the fish there were spawning so we watched them try to swim up the river. It was a very scenic drive and made for a really fun day.
We Moved!
As some of you may know we moved about 3 weeks ago. Steve and I found a cute townhouse just north of Thanksgiving Point over in Lehi. We have really enjoyed being in our own space again and to finally not have most of our things in storage. Sabrinna has adjusted really well. The area is wonderful! There are lots of young families so there are lots of kids to play with. (Even though we have been to busy to really meet anyone yet.) Steve and I are very grateful to my parents for letting us live with them on and off for the last year.
Our home is a 3 bedroom 2 1/2 bath townhome. Its two stories which is good and bad. We have a wonderful family room downstairs. The laundry room is our hobby and my craft room. The main floor is the front room and kitchen. You can walk out the back door onto a fenced patio. Outside of the fence is a community playground which has been fun for Sabrinna. Then upstairs we have an office, Sabrinna's room (the blankets are on the window so its dark enough for her to sleep during the day), and our room. We did not paint the walls, its how the house came. Some of the color choices are great but others need some help! Any ways thats our new house we hope you guys like it as much as we do.

For the 4th we went camping with one of Steve's mission friends and his family to Flaming Gorge. It was a really nice trip! We had fun boating and playing in the water.

Ultrasound!

After keeping it secret for 20 weeks. We finally decided that is was time to tell everyone that we are having another baby. That and I am showing now. We are way excited! Tanner, thats right we are having a boy, is due November 5. I had my ultrasound a couple of weeks ago. These pictures are not the greatest but they work. I was very lucky and was not very sick. Which was wonderful. We are very grateful and excited to have another baby join our family.
