Puddle Jummping :)

Steve and I have a passion for four wheeling. With all the rain we have gotten lately we knew that we could find some fun roads to jeep on... lots of mud and puddles. We went up into the foothills of Alpine and sure enough found some fun! We had a blast driving through the puddles. By the end our white jeep was a light brown because of all the dirty water. Its glorified puddle jumping!

Time with Daddy!

Steve has been in Mississippi for the last two weeks doing some training with the Army. Sabrinna did very well while he was away. She would say "daddy" and put her hands up making the gesture as to 'where is he'. He got home last Friday and Sabrinna has loved spending time with him. She also loves to help mow the lawn. Steve put her on the lawn mower and they proceed to enjoy there time together. It was getting to be nap time for Sabrinna but she still wanted to be with Daddy. Sabrinna started falling asleep on his lap. It was very cute!

Love of Books!

I think every mother likes to see there kids enjoy books and stories. I was doing dishes the other day and turned around to see Sabrinna sitting on the floor with books all around her. She loves to look at the pictures and turn the pages all by herself.

Beauty Stylings of Aunt Theora

Our routine for getting ready for bed includes a bath almost every night. Aunt Theora moved home a couple of weeks ago and wanted to have some fun. She tried to make Sabrinnas hair look like Wolverine off of Xmen, Alfalfa from Little Rascals, and then finally The Little Mermaid "dingalhopper" gone wild. Sabrinna seemed to enjoy having her hair played with even though her face says other wise.

Making Bread

A couple of weeks ago I decided to make some bread. We keep our flour in a big bucket. I knew that if Sabrinna got to it that flour would be all over the place. So I set the bucket on the counter and went about making the bread. As I started to clean up the mess I set the bucket on the flour. As you know it only takes a couple of seconds for something to happen. In the time I set the flour bucket on the flour and wiped off the counter Sabrinna had dumped about 2-3 cups of flour on the floor. Just as predicted. She was really cute and helped me clean it up with her own special broom. I however have learned my lesson as where to and not to put the flour.
