Over the weekend Steve and I took a trip to Denver. The army provides marriage retreats from time to time with all expenses paid. Of course we jumped at the opportunity! We stayed in downtown Denver, at the Brown Palace Inn and Spa. While we were there we walked along 16th Street. This street is closed off to all car traffic. It has lots of great shopping and fun things to see. We got into a Rockies baseball game for 7 dollars (we were sitting in $35 seats...yes we got the tickets from a scalper) They had one of the best firework shows I have ever seen after the game. We also went and saw the Denver Temple. Its pretty small but still very pretty. They had us in some classes most of Saturday. What they taught was was great and Steve and I both walked away from it with some very good information.
This was the first time for me to ever leave Sabrinna over night. I was so worried!!! She did wonderful and I think I missed her more then she missed me. Over all Steve and I had a great time and really enjoyed being able to get away by ourselves for a few days.

Sylvia! Looks like you had fun! Hey, I wanted to make my blog private, so send me your e-mail address to andreacoombsrn@yahoo if you want. I can't believe how tiny you still look! I am definitely fatter than you now and you are two weeks ahead of me.
Hey Syl! I love the way your blog looks--where do you get your templates? You look beautiful! I am glad you had a good time in Denver, especially at the temple. The first temple open house I ever went to was the Denver Temple. It's gorgeous! Love ya!
How fun! Good for you guys.
I love Denver! That's the Temple where Brad and I got married. How cool that the Army paid for your trip!! Looks like you guys are doing great.
That's really cool. Ryan and I did one a couple a year and a half ago and we really enjoyed it too. They really have alot of good ideas. I'm glad you two got to get away before the baby is born.
