Green Thumb

The great outdoors offers so many activities for a young, adventurous, brave little girl. Sabrinna has found that rocks and dirt taste very good. At least so she thinks right now. A favorite past time is to play in the dirt and help grandma do some yard work. She is very cute with mud all over her face.

Wreckless Driver...Stay Clear

My parents have a Flinestones car for the grandkids to play with. Sabrinna loves to play with it. Whenever we go outside she crawls over to the car and starts pushing it around the patio. She gets going to fast for herself and has soon ran into the flower pots and table. She has learned how to open the door and climb in. The other day she climbed in on the side that doesn't have a door. She went in head first and basically feel into the car. It took some effort but she as able to get herself turned around and sitting in the car ready to drive away.

New Fashion!

Sabrinna likes to put things on top of her head, although most things just fall behind her and onto the ground. The Cool Whip container became the exception. (So we helped a little, thats alright she looks cute.)

Who knew?

Who knew that a hamper could be so much fun for a little girl. Sabrinna crawled into the hamper and thought it was the lots of fun. We couldn't help but make the experience more enjoyable.

Fun in the Pool!

Sabrinna loves the water! She loves to splash and bounce up and down in the water.

California

Over the 4th of July we drove out to California to see the grandparents. It was Sabrinna's first road trip. It took us 12 hours to get there. She did wonderfully! We had a nice time relaxing and swimming. I was way excited to get a picture of Sabrinna with her great grandparents.

Simpson Springs

We went camping out on the desert with the family. Grandma and Grandpa Fotheringham joined us as well as Wayne, Cortney, and Tegan. Sabrinna got really dirty playing in the dirt so she got to take a bath in a plastic bowl. We did a lot of driving and saw some old cabins. We had lots of fun!

Sunday Dress

I just think that Sabrinna is so cute in this dress.

Fun in the City!

Steve is stationed at Fort Lewis right now and he was able to get a pass so that Sabrinna and I could go up and visit him. We flew to Seattle and were given the grand tour. Steve showed us all around Fort Lewis, where he works, lives, and does different training. We spent a couple of days in Seattle. We went on a cruise around Elliot Bay, went up the Space Needle, went to a couple of museums, we went to a Mariners baseball game and got to tour the Safeco Field before the game started. We also went to Point Defiance Park. It was beautiful there and we loved walking around. The park had different themes. They had a rose garden, a Japaneses garden, and a pond with lots of ducks. There was huge pine trees and ferns every else. It was very pretty. I was nervous about flying with Sabrinna but she did really well for a 9 month old baby. We all had a great time and were sad to see our vacation end.

(I will add picture later)

Newspaper!

As Sabrinna was learning to crawl she would play with newspaper alot. She will grab it and start waving her arms all around getting the paper everywhere. After a while she will start to rip the paper. Theora one night made a variety of hats for her out of the paper. This hat looks like something the Pope would wear.

Sabrinna also likes to make funny faces. She will make fish faces, suck her lips in to make a grandma face, and then she will also smile real big squint her eyes and bend her head back. It is so funny to watch her.

Strike a Pose

Sabrinna loves to wear any ones glasses. We put them on her and she will look around and smile real big. Of course it is short lived and then she tries to eat them. She's so cute!

Moving On...

We had a couple of busy days, to say the least. Following Steve's graduation we moved from Cedar City. We lived there for 2 1/2 years. It was always have a place in our heart. We moved in with the Hansen Family for a few months while we are getting adjusted.
About a week following our move Steve moved up to Fort Lewis, WA till August. He is the TOC Assistant Officer. Which means he sits at a desk and answers the phone and takes care of different problems that arise. Sabrinna and I are enjoying the time with family and working on crafts and other fun things.
